The Louvre Museum offers you now an interactive visit of the Petite Galerie du Louvre.
Inaugurated in 1793, the Louvre has a very long history of artistic and historical conservation, from the Ancien Régime to the present day!
Before being a museum, it was a former royal residence located in the heart of Paris. 
Nowadays the museum has no less than 554,731 works of art, including 35,000 exhibits and 264,486 graphic works in an incredible exhibition area of 72,735 m2. It is currently the largest museum of art and antiques in the world.
