You will need :

A mixing bowl.

a bowl

a pot (or a microwave)

an electric mixer

a whip

a spatula

a small grater (if you use tonka bean)

small ramekins (depending on how you want to serve the chocolate mousse to your guests)

For 4 people

Ingredients:

4 eggs

4 tablespoons of sugar

200g dark chocolate

a tonka bean (optional, but on the advice of Chef Cyril Lignac, I tested the recipe with it and it's delicious)

Instructions :

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave.

  2. Break the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks.

  3. Whisk the whites until stiff.

  4. In a bowl, add the melted chocolate, sugar and egg yolks.

  5. Mix

  6. If you have a tonka bean, grate half of it, and add it to the mixture.

  7. Mix again.

  8. Gently fold in the egg whites.

  9. You can then choose to divide the mixture into several small ramekins or just put the whole mixing bowl in the fridge.

  10. Set aside at least 6 hours in the fridge.

  10. Réservez au moins 6h au réfrigérateur.
